Welcome to my website!

For the past 20 years I’ve been bopping between gyms, yoga studios and health clubs collecting skills, clients and friends along the way. I am so excited to have a digital “home” where I can connect with my clients and community directly. I love what I do and my goal is for you to feel great through movement, nutrition coaching and wellness education. As a certified fitness pro with many nutrition and health coaching certification I believe in a holistic approach to wellness. I can help you make small healthy changes that overtime will lead to long lasting results and help you find your healthiest most prosperous self. That does not mean you will never eat a brownie or your favorite dessert ever again as deprivation never works long-term, it is about finding balance and mindfulness in your life. I am definitely not about the easy button, we will put the work in together finding what works for you, your busy life and your lifestyle. I believe finding your healthiest happiest self means learning about yourself, the good, the bad and what lies beneath the surface. When you learn why you do what you do it gives you the power to change it. I can tell you and I probably will share all of my issues and where they came from. That awareness gives me the power to acknowledge when I am falling back into old patterns, forgive myself and choose again.

There are so many things I want to share in my blog but I think the most important thing I can say is exercise and nutrition are not a one size fits all deal. A diet your best friend swears by can make you gain 5lbs while she is prancing happily around in her skinny jeans. The same goes with exercise, some thrive in yoga, some HIIT class, some Pilates, every body is different and it takes time to find what works for you. When I work one on one with a client I will give you a few small changes to make right away and overtime will make a huge difference in your life.

One of the first changes will be to have you start a journal. I am always surprised at how many people resist this exercise but it is so powerful. First, it creates mindfulness, if you have to write it down it becomes real. Second, it teaches you a lot about yourself. How you felt after you ate a specific food or drink, how you slept, or how you felt after a certain workout. It is a look under the hood so to speak, into the things we become to busy to pay attention to in our daily lives that overtime can lead to a not so healthy way of life. We will work together to find what works for you so you can look and feel your best.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my first blog post and for supporting me on this next chapter of my life.

Much Love,

Jill
